World Quality Week 2021


This World Quality Week, foodservice industry leaders HOBART Service, Brita Professional and First Choice Group join forces to discuss leading the way in excellence and sustainability. 

This year, World Quality Week focuses on Sustainability. To kick off the week, First Choice have published a joint article on what the three companies are doing to manage quality and sistainability. 

"HOBART, the leading kitchen equipment manufacturer and service provider is developing an environmental and energy policy, where water savings and waste reduction is vital, to using 100% recyclable packaging even down to the use of reusable tool and component boxes for field-based technicians. Hobart Service Technicians attend 100,000 call outs per year, fixing and maintaining machines and fitting OEM parts to extend the lifecycle of equipment, reducing unnecessary wastage and further spend for customers."

On Service Technician training, the article states, "First Choice Training, the specialist training provider of First Choice, has worked closely with Hobart to deliver advanced engineer training. Year to date, more than 30 engineers, including 25 gas reaccreditation candidates, 6 CCEECC students and 6 on the MLP course, of which one has gone on to complete their ACS accreditation to become a fully qualified gas engineer."
