Cara Williams has been appointed as Hobart Equipment Division Sales Director, bolstering the UK manufacturer’s new look senior team and bringing with her almost 16 years of direct experience as a commercial lead in the food and beverage trade.
With previous positions at PepsiCo, Birds Eye, Highland Spring, Lucozade Ribena Suntory and most recently, Müller where she was Business Unit Controller, Cara has been described as an innovative thinker and adaptable, authentic, and supportive leader.
Already in role at Hobart’s Peterborough HQ, she says she is relishing the challenge ahead and working closely with MD Tracy Southwell and the wider team to get under the skin of the catering equipment industry.
Cara comments: “I’m delighted to be joining Hobart at this pivotal time. In terms of product innovation and the industry at-large, this is certainly a fast-track learning process, but there’s also real synergy in terms of the fundamentals of the job – my experience at some of the UK’s largest blue chip companies means I’ve got that classical sales training in my DNA, so I’ll be bringing that to the role straight away. Long term, I will be looking to further support and develop this already highly experienced team as we accelerate into an exciting new era for the business.”
