Meet the Team - Trushar Patel

Diving deep into his first role in the hospitality sector, Trushar has found a home at Hobart as Area Sales Manager. From managing client relationships to ensuring the correct solutions are implemented and providing ongoing support, he thrives on the variety and challenges each day brings.

Join us as we delve into Trushar’s experiences, passions, and insights into what makes working at Hobart so rewarding.

In one sentence, how would you summarise your role at Hobart?

No one day is the same, but day to day, I manage my area with the relationships I have, matching the correct solutions to what customers and clients are asking for. Once the install has happened, it’s about maintaining that relationship, and keeping touch points, checking the machines, and offering any additional training

How long have you been in your role?

This is my first role in the sector, and I’ve now been with Hobart since 19th April 2022 –two years and two months.

Why do you love being a part of the Hobart team?

The different levels of experience, technical knowledge, and common interests in the group. As a team, we work really collaboratively to achieve common goals and targets. I’ve always found that I have someone to turn to when I need advice or help – I can pick up the phone and they will give their time to speak to me. Overall, it’s really a great company to work for, for anyone coming into this industry.

What’s your favourite Hobart product and why?

The Two-Level Washer, there’s nothing else like it out there – it’s a global first. It’s a unique category of machine, with a passthrough and a front-door operation of up to 120 racks per hour, which makes it a very unique product.

Tell us something about you that not many people know?

I’ve always loved sketching landscapes, everyday objects, life drawings from a young age - I’m always doodling in my spare time. Before my career in sales, I had envisioned myself being an architect or a famous artist of such, so I’ve always had that memory in my head, thinking maybe one day I’ll get there as an architect.

What’s the best meal of your life, and why?

On my honeymoon in the Maldives. We were having a secluded dinner on the beach, under the stars and just meters away from the gently lapping waves at the water’s edge. My wife and I will remember that forever. It was the situation, the setting – that was the best.
