HOBART Service Technician, Tony Hayward and Equipment Sales Executive, Mark Kerr were recently awarded Cambridge University Hospitals' Covid Star Awards in recognition of their dedication and contribution to the hospitals throughout the pandemic.
Tony and Mark were presented their awards, along with a letter of thanks from the CUH NHS Foundation Trust:
"We are delighted and proud to award you the Covid Star in recognition of your outstanding contribution to supporting our patients and each other during the Covid-19 pandemic."
HOBART Service's Operations Manager for the South, Andy Coles, commented on what this award means for HOBART Service's Technician, Tony:
"This is a very proud moment for Tony. Attending breakdowns on Covid wards during the pandemic was no easy task.
"It is fantastic to see Cambridge University Hospitals recognising the hard work and the fact that our Service Technicians kept going whatever the risk."
Mark provided support to the site by conducting a full audit of all Hobart equipment installed in the Hospital to help them simplify their asset management, this has enabled them to implement a new supply process with their distributor.
Gary Nicholl, Regional Manager for HOBART UK commented:
“This award is a great example of the care and commitment our team show to their customers, even during difficult circumstances.
"Mark showed brilliant determination to go the extra mile – even quite literally as he covered a great distance whilst covering the many facilities on such a large site. We’re very proud of his efforts and the recognition he has received.”
